White Rock Real Estate
Dallas's lake neighborhood
Why White Rock?
White Rock is the East Dallas community built around the 1,015-acre lake of the same name, five miles northeast of downtown. It is where Dallas goes to run, paddle, picnic, and breathe: a 9.33-mile trail loops the water, the Dallas Arboretum fills its shore, and quiet streets of mid-century and updated homes sit minutes from the lake's edge. If the outdoors are the point, White Rock is the answer.
What you should know
- The 9.33-mile White Rock Lake loop trail is one of Dallas's most heavily used parks, with a boathouse, Winfrey Point, and Sunset Bay along the way.
- The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, 66 acres of gardens on the lake's shore, hosts Dallas Blooms each spring and concerts all summer.
- The Santa Fe and SoPac trails connect White Rock to Deep Ellum, downtown, and Greenville Avenue, all off-road.
